There's also some lore here about the vampires of Innistrad, which is neat, by the focus is on a bunch of moving parts that churns out Blood and uses it to bring a bunch of creatures back into play

The game treats it as a spell until it resolves, gets countered, or otherwise leaves the stack

Fable has been turning up all over Standard, of course, but it has also made it back as far as Red-based Prison and Stompy decks in Legacy (and some people have even been trying it out in Vintage)
